Academies

 

Lancaster High School is pleased to provide such a variety of opportunities for its students.  No opportunity is as great as membership within one of our eight career academies.  

Students enrolled in an Academy at LHS:

• Develop a better understanding of college and career opportunities
• Graduate high school knowing if they will continue the academy's career path or investigate another plan.
• Build strong, positive relationships with peers and teachers in a manner similar to athletics or music.
• Participate in work-based experiences to develop a realistic view of potential careers
• Build Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
• Have the opportunity to earn college credits and industry certifications while enrolled in high-school
• Connect with the community in a meaningful and productive manner
