AOF's business, community, and alumni partnership has long recognized that providing our students with meaningful career-based opportunities is the key to success and sustaining our network. We were honored to receive this award from NAF as the top performing advisory board in the nation based on excellence in building community-school partnerships.
Advisory Boards are the essential bridge between schools and the workplace. Partnering with the Lancaster High School Academy of Finance, local businesses, community leaders, parents, and alumni maximize work-based learning activities essential to college, career, and future success. Typical activities include guest speakers, career coaches, project judges, job shadow providers, and paid internship providers. The Business, Community & Alumni Partnership operates under the umbrella of LEAF (Lancaster Education Alumni Foundation) as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
