Ski Club Information

• We will be skiing at Holiday Valley. Here is a link to the Holiday Valley Club Flyer. Families can use the log in to purchase passes for themselves, other family members, close friends, enemies, neighbors, pen pals in other states, etc. (Anyone can buy multi-week tickets through our system, but we are sorry that we can not offer adult season pass deals or individual day passes.)

• For the first time in over 25 years, Ski club will be on Thursdays. The school calendar for this year has made it almost impossible to go 8 weeks on Wednesday nights. We will be leaving the High School at around 3:05 after school and returning around 10:15 p.m.  Check below for dates. 
• This is a first-come-first-serve club with limited space. We do take 3 busses, which gives us room for 150 students.
• To take full advantage of HS Ski Club and ensure the safety of your child, they should have a basic knowledge of skiing/boarding. They should be able to put their own gear on and move safely. There are lessons available that teach a large range of skills and are included in most multi week packages.
• Students are not required to take the lesson that Holiday Valley provides.
• Students are required to wear an appropriate ski/snowboard helmet.

 

Cost

These are 24-25 costs : (Pass prices increase after November 1st)

• $230 (Transportation cost - this can be paid in cash or check made out to Lancaster HS Ski Club) ($115 for 4 weekers)
• $179 (HV Ultimate Thursday night lift tickets & 8 lessons - Normal Club Option/ Paid Online)
• $481 (HV Student Season Pass/ Paid Online)
• $357 (HV Night Student Season Pass....valid anytime after 3:30/ Paid Online)
• $132 Seasonal Ski/Board Rentals (Paid Online)
• $33 Seasonal Helmet Rental (Paid Online)
• $105 (4 week Option- Sometimes you have other commitments/ Paid Online)

Registration

• Registration Form needs to be completed before October 25th, 2024.
• You will still need to bring cash or a check (made payable to Lancaster HS Ski Club) for the bus cost of $230/ 8 week or $115/ 4 week.
• You need to use the Holiday Valley Ticket Center link to purchase your pass. Follow this document to help you purchase your tickets.

• A Field Trip Consent Forms can be picked up from Mr. Baehr in 166 or you can print it from the link. In many cases, you may only need to complete the first page.

Checklist:

Complete all the steps in the checklist to become a member of High School Ski Club.

1. Students....Join the Google Classroom
2. Complete the registration linked above.
3. Turn in transportation money to Mr. Baehr in room 166.
4. Complete the online pass purchase through Holiday Valley Ticket center for pass and rentals. 
5. See Mr. Baehr for Field Trip Consent form and return it to him completed. (Can also be printed from Google Classroom)

Refund and Cancelation Policy:

Holiday Valley will not be refunding registration or rental fees for any reason. If school/clubs are canceled for any reason, we will do our best to reschedule that outing.

• Dates: January 23-26 (End of exam week....impacts any student re-taking the Science exams from June)
• Includes: busing, 3 nights hotel stay, 3 days lift tickets, 3 breakfasts & 2 diners
• Approximate cost......$600
• Limited Seniority based trip [Seniority only during allowed seniority period/ Oct 21-Nov 1....Be ready!]
