Library Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct for the Library Media Center 2024/2025

Students are expected to work quietly and remain in the LMC for the entire class period.

Students can come in to do research/assignments, printing/copying, test makeups, and silent reading.

Once a digital pass has been secured, upon entering, all students must sign in on the LibraryTrac Chromebook.  Failure to do so will result in a class cut.

Once you are signed in to the LMC

  1. Show respect to all LMC staff

  2. Show respect to all LMC users

  3. Help provide an atmosphere conducive to quiet study

  4. Respect LMC/school materials

  5. Only after attendance is verified, ask permission for a pass to leave (restroom, locker, vending machine, etc.). Only 2 people will be permitted to leave the library at a time. You must sign out and then sign in on LibraryTrac

FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE LMC!

Before leaving, please push in chairs, return library material and pick up litter.

The LMC is a quiet Learning Zone. Students are expected to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning.

*Non-compliance with any of the above is reason for returning you to study hall!

The loss of LMC privileges and/or disciplinary action may result if LMC rules and staff requests are not followed.
