Class of 2029 - Academy Application Process

  1. Learn about the academy programs
    • Freshmen Foundations Presentations
    • Attend Academy Information Night - Thursday January 22, 2026 6:30pm LHS Auditorium
    • Review the Academy Program Guide
  2. Complete the Online Application

  1. All parts of the application must be completed before 3pm, Tuesday February 10, 2026

Teachers

  • LHS Teachers - Recommendations are submitted within the LHS Google Classroom
  • LMS Teachers & Coaches - Request a link to the form by emailing the academy director.

Lancaster High School is pleased to provide such a variety of opportunities for its students.  No opportunity is as great as membership within one of our eight career academies.  

Students enrolled in an Academy at LHS:

  • Develop a better understanding of college and career opportunities
  • Graduate high school with a career plan. 
  • Build strong, positive relationships with peers and teachers similar to athletics or music.
  • Participate in work-based experiences to develop a realistic view of potential careers
  • Build Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
  • Opportunity to earn college credits and industry certifications while enrolled in high school
  • Connect with the community in a meaningful and productive manner
