Physicals for the 2026-27 School Year

 The annual sports/working papers/mandated physicals will take place at Lancaster High School in May.  

 

Students participating in interscholastic sports must have a current physical (within one year of the start of the sports season) on file in the Health Office.  A student will not be eligible to participate in the sports program if he or she has not received the required physical.  Physicals from your private medical doctor are accepted.  The physical should be on the Required NYS School Health Examination Form (or a similar form), available on the Health Office Web Page under "Health Forms." 

In New York State, all grade 9 and 11 students are mandated to provide a physical to the school.

The Lancaster Central School District will continue to offer physicals by the school physician at no charge prior to each sports season and in the spring for the next school year.  Physicals for the 2026-2027 school year - whether for sports, working papers or as mandated - will take place in May during the school day.  A parent/guardian must contact the Health Office if they would like their son/daughter to have the physical done in school.  No student will be scheduled for a physical unless we hear from a parent/guardian.  To schedule an appointment, please email, send a written note or call the Health Office by Thursday, May 7th:

If your child has had a physical over the past couple of months and you have not sent it to the Health Office, please submit it before the end of the school year.  All physicals for Fall sports must be handed into the Health Office by August 1st.
